Foot & Ankle Center expands
PRINCE GEORGE — The Foot & Ankle Center (FAAC) recently announced the opening of a new office in Prince George County and the hiring of a new podiatrist, Dr. Sagar Shah, who is accepting new patients at the Prince George location. The new office is located at 4730 Puddledock Road.
“Since we joined forces with Foot & Ankle Specialists of the MidAtlantic (FASMA) a year ago ..., we have been growing like gangbusters. This is the second new doctor we have hired in 2018 and we have just opened our second location, all to meet patient demand and to better serve the Tri-Cities area,” said Mitchell Waskin, DPM, and founder, FAAC. “For years, patients have been traveling from the Tri-Cities and beyond to see us. We are excited to become a part of the growing medical community in Prince George.”
The Foot & Ankle Center offers comprehensive care for orthopedic foot and ankle problems, diabetic foot problems and nail problems. The main office is located on the campus of Johnston-Willis Hospital. At FAAC Prince George, Dr. Shah will provide complete podiatric care for all ages, with special expertise in reconstructive foot surgery, sports medicine, wound care and diabetic foot care. Dr. Shah will be affiliated with CJW Medical Center (Chippenham and Johnston Willis Hospitals), John Randolph Medical Center in the Hopewell/Colonial Heights area, and St. Francis Medical Center.
