Bedell said that it was $10,000 to $15,000 cheaper than a brand-new regular dump truck. “There was a deal on this new truck, and its the same kind that Punxsy Borough uses,” Bedell said, adding that they only have three miles of roads to cover in Big Run.

He said there are a few more things to put on the truck and it has an aluminum bed and have it set to wash the salt off the bed.

So, Big Run is ready for the snow to fly.
