Dale B. Jarvis, age 59, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022, after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer.

He was a 1981 graduate of Punxsutawn­ey Area High School.

Dale was an avid Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Football fan. He enjoyed family trips to Goodyear, Arizona, to attend Indians spring training, and traveling the country to watch sports car racing. He was a past girls softball coach, softball umpire and volleyball referee.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Sheryl. He was the most loved father of daughter Erin (Wade) Garrett; son of Vee Jarvis; brother of Dave (Debbie) Jarvis and Darrell (Joy) Jarvis; brother-in-law to Michele (Pat) Valentine and Christophe­r Owen; caring uncle to Alicia (Shane) O’Neill, Patrick, Jessica and Brady Valentine, Kristina (Derek) Arduini and Hayley, Nick and Alyvia Owen, Becky (Philip) Mgele, Kelly and Kim Jarvis; great-uncle of Riley and Emmett O’Neill; nephew of Gerrie Hawk and Gene (Chris) Tollini; and cousin to Dan (Jen), Brian (Hope) and

Val (Mike) Tollini and Janice (Brian) Hawk.

He was proceeded in death by his infant granddaugh­ter, Reagan Sage Garrett; in-laws Richard and Dolly Owen; father Dwight; and grandparen­ts Julius and Henrietta Tollini.

He will be missed by his loyal pup, Enzo.

Cremation has taken place. Per Dale’s request, his ashes will be spread at the top of Pike’s Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
