• Police are investigating a report of possible child abuse at 11:18 a.m. April 14 on Smyers Street in Big Run.
• Police are investigating a report of criminal mischief between 8:30 p.m. April 13 and 9:30 a.m. April 15 on Lipp Road in Gaskill Township, Jefferson County. Unknown actor(s) damaged a silver and red sign valued at approximately $1,600 at the Chestnut Grove Church. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP-Punxsy at 814-9380510.
• Police are investigating a report of criminal mischief at 1 a.m. April 24 on Main Street in McCalmont Township, Jefferson County. Unknown actor(s) drove an unmarked Ford box truck to Creo Green Energy, LLC, drilled a hole in the gas tank of a company pickup truck and stole the gas. The actor(s) left in an unknown direction. • Police are investigating a burglary at 3:13 p.m. April 15 on 2nd Street in Canoe Township, Indiana County. Unknown actor(s) entered a residential property. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP-Punxsy at 814-930-0510.
• Police conducted a traffic stop at 12:23 p.m. April 25 on Spring Street in Woodward Township,
Clearfield County. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The investigation is ongoing.
• Police are investigating a burglary at 5:02 p.m. April 13 on Cliff Road in Beaver Township, Jefferson County. Unknown actor(s) entered a residential property at some point between Feb. 20 and March 3. They removed: Homer Laughlin dishes in a Virginia rose pattern, valued at $575; Pfaltzgraff Naturewood pattern dishes, valued at $540; Brighton carryon luggage, valued at $250; crystal snack sets, valued at $300; garment cover, valued at $5; and $10,000 in cash. • Police conducted a traffic stop at 12:14 a.m. May 1 on Pine Street in Punxsutawney. Troopers detected a moderate odor of burnt marijuana inside the vehicle. A search reportedly yielded drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The investigation is ongoing.
