PSP-DuBois

• Police responded to a report of theft at noon June 3, 2021, on South Pancoast Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. The suspect reportedly agreed to install an HVAC system at the victim’s residence and took a payment in the amount of $7,681.73 on the aforementi­oned date. As of now, the suspect has not installed the HVAC system. Charges will be filed.

• Police assisted state parole at 5:52 p.m. April 27 at a residence on Main Street in Falls Creek. Methamphet­amines and LSD were seized. Charges have been filed.

• Police are investigat­ing a theft between noon April 25 and noon April 27 on 1st Street in Falls Creek. Two $100 bills were stolen from a vehicle.

• Police responded to a twovehicle crash at 3:15 p.m. April 18 on Luthersbur­g Rockton Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County. A 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 that was against the guiderail because of snow-covered roadways. No injuries were reported.

• Police responded to a domestic disturbanc­e at 1:20 a.m. April 28 on Beechtree Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. An argument turned physical when one of the parties attempted to call 911. The suspect fired several rounds from a revolver, and one of the parties fled the residence, calling 911. Drug parapherna­lia reportedly was located in the home during the course of the investigat­ion. The investigat­ion continues, and charges will be filed upon consultati­on with the Jefferson County district attorney.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 3:24 p.m. April 12 on Bee Line Highway in Sandy Township, Clearfield County. An odor of narcotics was detected inside the vehicle, and marijuana reportedly was found. Charges are pending.

• Suspected narcotics were located on an Individual at the Jefferson County Jail at 2:40 p.m. March 19. The investigat­ion continues.

• Police responded to a onevehicle crash at 5:36 p.m. April 30 on Route 28 in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County. A 2005 Hyundai Sonata went off the roadway and struck an embankment, then went back across both lanes, struck another embankment and overturned onto its roof. The driver sustained suspected minor injuries, but was not taken to a medical facility. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

• Police responded to a onevehicle crash at 3:56 p.m. April 30 on Wayne Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. A 2016 Jeep Patriot failed to negotiate a left curve and struck an embankment. No injuries were reported.

• Police are investigat­ing a theft at 1:15 p.m. April 26 on Rockton Mountain Highway in Union Township, Clearfield County. A brown wallet containing approximat­ely $200 in cash and Credit One credit card was removed from the victim’s residence. The credit card was used in an attempt to make an unauthoriz­ed transactio­n of $50 at the Penfield MiniMart and $1.15 at the Family Dollar Store in Weedville.

• Police responded to a report of a physical altercatio­n between two juveniles at 12:19 p.m. April 22 on Vo Tech Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. The investigat­ion will be handled within the department.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 8 p.m. May 1 on East Main Street in Reynoldsvi­lle. The driver displayed signs of being impaired on a controlled substance and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending.

PSP-Punxsy

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 10:51 p.m. April 27 on Adrian Road in Young Township, Jefferson County. While speaking with the driver, police detected a moderate odor of burnt marijuana within the vehicle and observed visual indicators of drugrelate­d impairment. A search of the vehicle yielded suspect THC wax/oil and related drug parapherna­lia. The driver was arrested. The investigat­ion is ongoing.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 4:39 p.m. April 16 on McHugh Avenue in Punxsutawn­ey. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

• Police are investigat­ing a report of retail theft at 6:18 p.m. April 28 at Walmart on Route 119 in Young Township, Jefferson County.

• Police are investigat­ing a report of criminal mischief at 12:52 p.m. April 30 on Dora Timblin Road in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County. The damages totaled $1,225.

• Police are investigat­ing a report of identity theft between 12:01 a.m. Jan. 31 and 11:59 p.m. Feb. 17 on Locust Street in McCalmont Township, Jefferson County. The victim’s name was used to obtain a Citi Simplicity credit card.
