Eric Nicholas Surkala

Eric Nicholas Surkala, the son of Kelly and Doug Surkala, is a member of the Class of 2022. He is enrolled in the standard curriculum at Punxsutawney Area High School. His honors include being captain and president of the crosscountry team in the 20212022 school year. He has been a member of the team since ninth grade. He also participated in indoor track and field in grades 9-11 and outdoor track and field in grades 9, 11, 12 (missed 10 due to COVID-19). He is a member of the Ski Club and Art Club, and was on the Powder Buff King’s Court. His post-graduation plans include going to Triangle Tech in DuBois to study welding and fabrication.
