YOUNG TWP. — The Young Township supervisors received the results of the 2021 audit from Matt Foster CPA, which found no discrepancies.
The supervisors made the announcement at their meeting last week.

• The subject of ATVs on township roads was discussed.
State Rep. Brian Smith, 66th legislative district, said townships must have their own ordinance addressing the matter, like Reynoldsville and Benezette.
Smith said if it is allowed, green signs should be posted so the riders will know that they are permitted to ride in your municipality.
Smith said the township can designate any road in its jurisdiction, but it must have a tag from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
Smith said the township should have the solicitor look it over.
• Sam Adams resigned as an administrative assistant.
• Bids were awarded in the following amounts: Hawbaker, $45 per ton for 50 tons of R-6; Bucktail Excavation, $27.43 per ton No. 67, 60 tons; Bucktail, $2978 per ton for No. 8, 1,200 tons
