1964 Aston Martin DB5, James Bond 007 Gadget Car Recreation

Olivier Spilborghs – Canada

-

This project started in 2012 just after Skyfall, when the villains fully destroyed Bond's DB5. Olivier Spilborghs' personal connection began when one of the original four cars was displayed at Frank Baker's Restaurant in 1969 for 13 years. It arrived from the United Kingdom at the same time he was born and he grew up seeing it with his parents. After seeing the car star in eight James Bond films over the years, he was inspired. Currently, only three cars remain. Only making seldom appearances, it was time to recreate the gadget car with updated functions, a bigger motor, and better materials. This car is fully handmade, with a new chassis from the United Kingdom, using original parts and making all the other parts unavailable, building a car that Bond fans can view, access, and enjoy is the goal!
