Lansingburgh Youth Soccer sign-ups: The Lansingburgh Youth Soccer season will begin on Aug. 27 and end Oct. 22. All Games will once again be played on Saturdays on the Knickerbacker Park Soccer Field. All players need to be registered no later than August 15. Registration is $80 for the year and includes $30 in raffle tickets for you to sell (you keep those funds) for the Sept. 10 noon drawing. Fall mens lacrosse 16 and over:

Fall boys lacrosse: Capitalland lacrosse will be running a boy’s fall lacrosse program. Players can chose to play on Wed. night, Sun. afternoons or both. Programs will start on Sept. 14and end on Oct. 23. Each group will play for an hour and a half each day/night. Levels include: a co-ed K – 5th learn to play program; boys instructional programs for beginners; novice players grades 2nd to 5th and 6th to 10th; an advanced instruction program for players in graders 3 to 6: 7 to 9 who want to refine their game while being introduced to more advanced techniques. Sage Columbus Day Basketball Skills Clinics: The Sage Boys’ Basketball Columbus Day Camp will be held in the Kahl Gym Monday, October 10 and the Sage’s Women’s Basketball Team will hold a Columbus Day Girls’ Clinic in the Neff Center. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The boys clinic is for ages 10-17 and will include offensive and defensive skills training, competitive 3 vs. 3 play, shooting contests, and individual instruction to help campers prepare for the upcoming season. 15th Annual Morris Cup: The Jason Morris Judo Center will host the 15th Annual Morris Cup October 9 at Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake High School. There is expected participation from more than 500 of the best competitors in the Northeast and Canada in the competition.
