THACHER NATURE CENTER: Cliff-Top Walk, 10 a.m. Take in the views from the cliff edge on this early spring walk along the Long Path out to Hailes Cave picnic shelter, then walk the Escarpment Trail back, stopping to take in a cliff top perspective of the Indian Ladder Trail and the rushing waters of Outlet and Mine Lot Falls. CIVIL RIGHTS THEN AND NOW: On Monday, April 10, at 6p.m., Paul Murray will be at the Troy Public Library to discuss “The Civil Rights Movement: Then and Now.” Professor Murray, a veteran of the Civil Rights Movement, received his Ph.D. from Florida State University in 1972.
