Mary Ellen Labrum

MELROSE – Mary Ellen Labrum, 98, of Melrose died peacefully on August 24, 2017 at her residence in Melrose with her loving family by her side. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late James and Rose Connelly McLean and the devoted wife of the late Ed - gar S. Labrum.

Mrs. Labrum was educated in Troy and was a gradfamily, uate of the Mildred Elly School of Business. She dedicated her life to her her children, grand - children and great grand Schaghticoke. children were the center of her life. Mary Ellen was a long time member of Transfiguration Church in

Survivors include her children, Paul Labrum ( Alice), Cory Macpherson ( Kevin) and James Labrum ( Patty), 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Ro - spo.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 28th at 10 am from Trans - figuration Church in Schaghticoke ghticoke where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends are in - vited and may call at the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home 870 Sec - ond Avenue ( 124th & 125th Streets) in Lansingburgh on Sunday from 4 to 6 pm. The interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Schagh - ticoke.
