4- H Horse Show recognize swinning riders
SCHAGHTICOKE, N. Y .» There was no shortage of great kids and great horses at the annual 4- H Horse Show held during the annual Schaghticoke Fair.
Youth participated in a number of events during the twoday show, from written exams and model horse classes to gymkhana and jumping. Just like in all areas of 4- H, participants in the horse program learn life skills that aid them in other areas of their life.
The show was run under the watchful eye of a team of volunteers led by 4- H Horse Show Chairwoman CharlieA nne Huffam and judges Kelli Wainscott and Jennifer Moshier.
Award winners and their horses included:
