the Section II Class A team tournament. Burnt Hills won every match except first singles to take home the team plaque.

put in by Wania. Scotties keeper Shay Andress came up big twice in the second half to keep the Spartans from closing the gap by saving two breakaways. The Scotties improve their Suburban Council record to 7-7. It is their first .500 league record in six years and overall record of 9-7 is their first winning record in seven years.

Amanda O’Brien opened the scoring for the Plainsmen then Marion Lyons scored twice in the second half to ice the contest. Goalkeeper Kelsey Kohler made seven saves in the contest.

Boys soccer

Barringer tallied five blocks, three digs; and Amanda McGinn had two aces, two kils and five assists for Saratoga Springs.

The Blue Bison beat the Raiders 29-31, 25-16, 25-7, 2624. Shaker was led by Alana Paladino’s four digs, Sam Hardwick’s 10 kills, nine digs, and Tia Snyder’s nine digs.

Colonie was led by Madison Marshall with eight kills, 15 digs, two blocks; Jenny Mueller’s four kills, one ace, one block; and Ciana Phillips’ four kills, seven digs, one block.
