‘Vliet wrestling wins big

ALBANY, N.Y. » The Watervliet­Heatly wrestling team picked up a 66-9 early-season victory over Albany Academy Thursday evening.

The Cannoneers got points by pinfall from Kendryek Flynn at 152 pounds, Anthony Sutherland­Daniels, Sterling Spoon and John Dunham.

Watervliet-Heatly also benefitted from fielding wrestlers in every weight class except 285 and 99 pounds.

RAVENA- COEYMANS- SELKIRK 58, LANSINGBUR­GH6 » Calib Morissey pinned Steven Reed in 5:06 for the only points of the match for Lansingbur­gh. R- C-S opened the contest with 34 straight points before Morissey’s victory at 170 pounds.

Boys bowling

COLUMBIA 16, COLONIE 16 » The Blue Devils were tied in team points but won the total pinfall 3,918-3,834. Mat Thompson rolled a high single of 277 and 738 series to lead all bowlers for Columbia.

Austin Deitz recorded a 266705 for Colonie.

NISKAYUNA2­4, SARATOGASP­RINGS 8» Nick Armstron rolled a matchhigh 268 single and finished with a 718 series to lead the Silver War-

Abigail Melvin finished with 191- 476 and Zachary Hollister recorded a 157- 431 were the top bowlers for Whitehall. Other top scores for Hoosick Falls included Owynn Arnold 248- 663, Meghan Backes 225- 609, Erin McCart 198- 579, A. J. Hurlburt 202- 578, Brody Mullen 192, Ziena Hurlburt 189, Patrick Smith 181 and Lilli Williams 173. Hoosick Falls will try to keep their 8- 0 point record perfect as they travel to Saratoga Strike Zone on Monday for a match against Saratoga Catholic.

COLONIE 24.5, COLUMBIA 7.5 » Shealynn Peckowitz rolled a 236- 646 to lead the Raiders to a total pinfall victory of 3,479-3,102.

Erin Spencer recorded a 206-560 to lead the Blue Devils.

NISKAYUNA 17, SARATOGA SPRINGS 15 » Maddie Duguay led all bowlers with a high single of 221 and a 630 series but its wasn’t enough for the Blue Streaks, who had a 2,612-2,592 advantage in total pinfall. Gina Voris rolled a 561 series to lead Niskayuna.

WNYA announced a new partnershi­p in which five Siena Basketball home games will be televised on My4 Albany. The agreement was negotiated by Siena Athletics’ multimedia rights holder Van Wagner Sports & Entertainm­ent.

“Siena has a great tradition and a strong fan base, and we are very pleased to be able to bring live coverage of Siena Basketball to every home in the Capital Region,” said NewsChanne­l 13 General Manager Stephen P. Baboulis.

My4 Albany will televise Siena Basketball’s home games vs. Robert Morris (Dec. 2), Holy Cross (Dec. 22), Quinnipiac (Jan. 1), Canisius (Jan. 7), and Fairfield (Feb. 21). My4 Albany in available in HD to Spectrum subscriber­s in the Capital Region on Channel 4.

All five My4 Albany broadcasts will also be simulcast on ESPN3, which is accessible online at WatchESPN.com, and on smartphone­s and tablets via the WatchESPN app.
