Ar­rests made in re­cent string of rob­beries

STILL­WA­TER, N.Y. » Author­i­ties said mul­ti­ple people have been ar­rested in con­nec­tion with re­cent rob­beries in Saratoga County.

Still­wa­ter po­lice said of­fi­cers re­sponded to a rob­bery in progress call at the Mo­bil Mart lo­cated on Hud­son Av­enue on Fri­day at 9:34 p.m.

The in­di­vid­u­als had fled prior to the of­fi­cers ar­riv­ing, po­lice said.

How­ever, a sus­pect ve­hi­cle oc­cu­pied by three in­di­vid­u­als was lo­cated in the Price Chop­per park­ing lot by Me­chan­icville po­lice of­fi­cers.

The three in­di­vid­u­als — Christo­pher Hutchins, 25, of Porters Cor­ners; Daniel Dem­ing, 30, of Corinth; and Ash­ley Dem­ing, no age or mu­nic­i­pal­ity of res­i­dence pro­vided — were charged with first- de­gree rob­bery, a felony.

Still­wa­ter po­lice said in­for­ma­tion from Saratoga County sher­iff’s deputies and Me­chan­icville po­lice led to ad­di­tional charged be­ing filed for rob­beries that oc­curred ear­lier this month: at the Dol­lar Gen­eral in Schuylerville on April 6, and at the Sunoco in Me­chan­icville on April 7.

Hutchins, was also charged with first-de­gree rob­bery for the Schuylerville in­ci­dent. He was also ar­rested on an out­stand­ing war­rant out of the town of Mil­ton for mis­de­meanor crim­i­nal mis­chief, deputies said.

Daniel Dem­ing was also charged with fourth- de­gree con- spiracy, a felony, for the Schuylerville in­ci­dent.

They were ar­raigned in Me­chan­icville City Court and sent to the Saratoga County Jail. They are sched­uled to ap­pear in court at a later date.
