June 1: The Sage Colleges’ department of athletics is set to hold its annual Gator Golf Classic on Friday, June 1, 2018at Colonie Golf and Country Club. All proceeds dedicated to enhancing the collegiate experience of our student-athletes.

Cost is $145per golfer/$580 per foursome, a “Young Alumni Discount” is available for Sage graduates from 2013to 2018at $125per golfer/$500per foursome. 8a.m. registrati­on, 9a.m. shotgun start, scramble format includes golf, cart and buffet early dinner beginning at 3p.m.

The Fast Break Fund, a non- profit organizati­on aimed at enriching the lives of Capital District children through sports, is sponsoring a youth cheerleadi­ng camp from June 25to 29at Fast Break Fund Headquarte­rs at One Mustang Drive, Cohoes The camp will cater to young athletes entering Kindergart­en through 6th grade and costs $135for the week. The program will be led by current Syracuse University Cheerleade­r Brenna Hart, a Shendehowa grad along with additional Division I cheerleadi­ng talent to instruct at the camp including SU teammate and former Saratoga High School cheerleade­r Madison Dallas. University of Rhode Island cheerleade­r Mackenzie Jackson, a Cheer Intensity teammate of Hart’s, is also scheduled to attend.
