Man stabbed during robbery
No arrests as of Thursday afternoon
TROY, N.Y. » A man was stabbed multiple times during a robbery at 375 10th Street, say Troy Police.
The male is in his mid-twenties and is expected to recover after being treated at a local hospital.
The incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. Police said two males were in the house and while there were robbed by two suspects. One of the suspects carried a handgun, the other a knife, according to Assistant Police Chief Daniel DeWolf.
DeWolf said that due to the presence of weapons and the uncertainty of where the suspects
fled to, the Troy Police tactical team (ERT) was activated to assist in executing a search warrant of the building.
Detectives and evidence technicians processed the scene and the investigation is continuing. DeWolf said there is no one was in custody as of later Thursday afternoon.
