BOCES officials said this month that the 18 students who took either of the 500-hour courses found jobs upon graduation; many of them before they even graduated from the programs. Among those graduates is Saratoga Springs resident David Schewe, shown, who found employment in the HVAC/R industry while still completing the program. “I am working with a really good company right now because of this program. I like that I am able to work and come here and learn at the same time,” Schewe, who is employed with Adirondack Plumbing and Mechanical, said in the release.
