Cops: Man charged af­ter voter fraud probe

TROY, N.Y. » City po­lice said an ar­rest has been made in a voter fraud case that was ini­ti­ated in early July.

An­thony J. Isopo, 46, of 310 Roo­sevelt Ave., Troy, was charged with three counts of sec­ond- de­gree fal­si­fy­ing busi­ness records and five counts of sec­ond­de­gree pos­ses­sion of a forged in­stru­ment.

An in­ves­ti­ga­tion by the Troy Po­lice De­part­ment De­tec­tive Bureau re­sulted in the ar­rest of An­thony J. Isopo , 46 of 310 Roo­sevelt Ave. Troy, NY.

The in­ves­ti­ga­tion sur­rounded forged sig­na­tures on pe­ti­tions that were filed with the Rens­se­laer County Board of Elec­tions, po­lice said.

Isopo was ar­raigned in City Court on Thurs­day morn­ing and re­leased.

He is sched­uled to ap­pear in court at a later date.
