Five from CBA sign NLI’s to play college lacrosse

ALBANY >> Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) held a special signing ceremony in the CBA Alumni Library on Thursday, November 15 at 2:00 PM as five athletes sign letters to play college lacrosse.

CBA’s athletics program is supported by a commitment to academics. CBA’s athletes have a 100 percent college acceptance rate, and are just as successful on the field as they are off the field.

Hunter Pemrick is a 4 year varsity midfielder and a versatile athlete who chose Siena College over many other schools. Hunter will pursue a business degree while playing for coach Liam Gleason. Siena plays is the MAAC Conference

Ryan Max Tedesco has committed to LeMoyne College - an annual competitor for the division 2 national championsh­ip. Max is a 1st team Suburban Council All Star and a 1st Team Times Union All Star for 2018. LeMoyne is coached by Dan Sheehan.

Ryan Malone worked hard to transition from midfield to defense and has committed to play for the College of St. Rose. He will play for coach Jim Morrissey. St. Rose is a member of the Northeast 10 conference.

Anthony Pizzola is a 4 year varsity attackman and has committed to High Point University. He is a superior athlete with tremendous stick skills who will play for Coach Jon Torpey and the Pan-

thers of the Southern Conference. Anthony will major in Criminal Justice.

Lachlan Rodgers is a 4 year varsity player who excels in goal. “Lach” is a tireless worker and a complete teammate. He has a career save percentage of 74%. Lachlan committed to Rivier University of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference to play for Head coach James Delanoy.
