ROSEMARY K. MELISKI

LOUDONVILLE- Rosemary K. Meliski, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 surrounded by the love of her family. Rosemary was born on June 18, 1932 to the late John and Katherine Quickenton in Albany, NY. Rosemary was the loving wife to the late John M. Meliski for over 50 years. Together they raised five children. Rosemary was a long term member of St. Pius X Church and served as a Eucharist minister. She will be remembered for her love of shopping, especially at Macy’s, and loved traveling and dining out with her husband and friends. Her true passion in life was her family. Rosemary is predeceased by her beloved husband, John, her brother, Jack Quickenton, and her mother-in-law, Anna Schofield. She is survived by her children, Rich ( Colleen) Meliski, Linda Teller, Cindy (Doug) Durfey, Diane (Cleve Eads) Robertson, and Susan (Brian) Peek, her 14 grandchildren, John, Angela, Adam, Josh, Jaime, Chris, Jeremy, Danielle, Kristen, Jenna, Nicole, Courtney, Joe, and Brianna, and her 23 greatgrandchildren, her sister, Judy (Tony) Stellato, and several nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X, 23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211, on Friday, January 18, 2019, at 11:30am. Burial will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
