WNBA returning to the Times Union Center
ALBANY, NY » SMG managed Times Union Center, in conjunction with GymRat CHALLENGE, announced that WNBA teams, New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun, will face off in a preseason game on May 19, 2019. The Women’s National Basketball Association ( WNBA) is a professional basketball league that celebrates the best women’s basketball talent. The WNBA will be entering its 23rd season in 2019.

For over two decades, the GymRat CHALLENGE has been a rite of passage for today and tomorrow’s NCAA, NBA and WNBA stars. The 2019 BOYS GymRat CHALLENGE will take place on May 25-26 and the GIRLS GymRat CHALLENGE will tip off on June 15-16.
