Watervliet woman charged with possession of MDMA
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. » New York State Police said they arrested a Watervliet woman after a traffic stop March 19 on Western Avenue in the Town of Guilderland for vehicle and traffic violations.
During the roadside investigation, troopers say they detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
After further investigation, troopers say the driver, Racheal Cottrell, 30, of Watervliet, was found to be in possession of MDMA/Ecstasy.
Cottrell was arrested and charged with fourth- degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Cottrell was arraigned in the Town of Guilderland and released to the supervision of the Albany County Probation.
