ANN HERRINGTON

BRUNSWICK- Ann Herrington, 89, formerly of Country Way and Wayne St., Brunswick, died on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020. Born and educated in Johnson City, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lola Beer Stark and was the beloved wife of the late George H. Herrington, who died Jan., 17, 1997. Ann retired from Samaritan Hospital in Troy where she had been employed for over 10 years and had previously been employed at Our Lady of Victory Church in Sycaway where she was the Chef for Monsignor Slavin. She was a communicant and member of the Altar Rosary and Adoration Society at the former St. Paul the Apostle Church in Beman Park and was a current communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church. Devoted mother of Nancy (Robert “Bob”) Bonesteel of Rensselaer, Michael (Crista) Herrington of Long Island, N.Y., and Amy (the late, Ron) Desrosiers of Brunswick, sister of the late Kermit Stark, Dorothy “Dot” Albert and Jean Rakowsky, cherished grandmother of Rian (Shawn) Connery, Laura and Shelby Herrington, adored great-grandmother of Micah Dukes and Jesse Wagner, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, Dec. 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, (Corner of Marshland Ct. and North Lake Avenue in Sycaway) Troy, N.Y., 12180. Due to restrictions there will be no public calling hours. In person attendees must wear facial coverings, practice social distancing as well as adhere to capacity limitations. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
