Restaurant Week returns Sept. 13 through 19

TROY, N.Y. » The 2021 Downtown Troy Restaurant Week returns Monday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. Restaurant Week highlights downtown Troy food and drink establishm­ents offering a selection of discounts, quick pick-ups, dinner pairings, events, and more. This year, Restaurant Week encourages diners to enjoy and discover more in Downtown with every meal. The service, quality, and experience offered by their small businesses are something that cannot be compared. Every budget and palette can enjoy the diverse offerings of Troy.

Breakfast, lunch specials, and dinners range from $7 to $45.

In addition to dining in Troy, The Troy Craft Beer Committee welcomes back Troy Craft Beer Week. While downtown, visitors have the opportunit­y to partake in unique craft brew events throughout the week. Visit https://www.facebook. com/GetRucked for Troy Craft Beer Week details.

The options for Troy Restaurant Week are limitless. Café Deliicious offers a breakfast sandwich and large coffee for $7 in addition to 50% off a regularly priced sandwich with a purchase of a plant from their vibrant space. Travel around the world for lunch at First Choice Caribbean with a Jerk Chicken Plate or a taste of Morocco with the lunch buffet at Tara Kitchen Troy. Taco Libre offers “Nacho Libre,” loaded nachos while Koni’s Broadway Kafe highlights local, with the Frear Park wrap and a free snickerdoo­dle cookie.

Comfort food is a big theme for dinner. Ryan’s Wake will have duck poutine, The Gobbler (slowroaste­d turkey, stuffing, cheddar cheese, and cranberry mayo rolled up and served warm in a flour tortilla), and a choice of fall and pumpkin brews. Donna’s Italian brings the classic, Spaghetti, and Meatball with a carafe of red wine, while Brown’s Brewing Company offers four choices of burgers (The Breakfast, Blue Man, Maxwell, and Vegan Maniac). Each day of Restaurant Week welcomes a new experience.

Troy Restaurant Week may be all about dining out, however, diners can purchase a ‘No State Like Upstate” apron for $10 at Troy Cloth and Paper with a receipt from a participat­ing Restaurant Week restaurant. And Bloom Ink Studio will donate10% of any sales or services booked on Wednesday, September 15 in support of Troy Street Soldiers, an organizati­on feeding those in need weekly in downtown Troy.
