LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF WATERVLIET ALBANY COUNTY NEW YORK CONTRACT No. 2G - MUNICIPAL POOL SPRAY DECK CONCRETE AND INFRASTRUCTURE Sealed Bids for furnishing and installing a spray deck at the City of Watervliet’s Municipal Pool, at 1530 Second Avenue, Watervliet, New York, will be received at Watervliet City Hall, 2 Fifteenth Street, Watervliet, New York 12189 until 10:30 A.M. (local time) on December 29, 2021 and will be opened and read aloud. Work consists of the construction of two wet decks, totaling approximately 2,650 square feet, to be constructed under winter conditions, a dry deck, approximately 5,550 square feet, to be constructed in the spring. Other work includes associated spray ground drainage, under-slab supply piping and a four-foot tall, ornamental aluminum fence with two single-swing gates. (Spray Deck equipment to be installed under a separate contract) Plans and Specifications for the proposed work, will be on file and publicly exhibited as of December 13, 2021. Project documents will be available for viewing online at the Dataflow Inc. website:https:// www.godataflow.com. Paper and electronic copies of plans and specifications will be available for pick-up from DATAFLOW, 2215 Central Avenue, Schenectady NY 12304 (email address albany@ godataflow.com or phone 518-463-2192). Bidders will be charged a nominal amount payable to Dataflow for paper copies of bidding documents. All plan holders must register at Dataflow Inc. to receive any addenda.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid, drawn upon a national or state bank or trust company, to the order of the City of Watervliet, or a bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, conditioned that if Bidder’s Bid is accepted, Bidder will enter into a Contract for the same and that Bidder will execute such further security as may be required for the performance of the Contract. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, will be required of the successful Bidder, and the bonds shall be satisfactory to the City of Watervliet counsel. The Bidder to whom the Contract may be awarded shall attend at the said opening place of the said Bids, with the sureties offered by the Bidder, within seven (7) days after the date of the Notice of Award, and there sign the Contract for the Work in triplicate. In case of Bidder’s failure to do so, or in case of Bidder’s failure to give further security as herein prescribed, the Bidder will be considered as having abandoned the same and the certified check or other bid security accompanying Bidder’s proposal shall be forfeited to the City of Watervliet. WATER FILTRATION PLANT IMPROVEMENTS CONTRACT NO. 1G – SECURITY FENCING DWSRF PROJECT NO. 18535
Sealed Bids for furnishing and installing chain link security fencing at the City Water Filtration Plant, 222 WatervlietShaker Road, Latham New York, will be received at Watervliet City Hall, 2 Fifteenth Street, Watervliet, New York 12189 until 10:00 A.M. (local time) on December 29, 2021 and will be opened and read aloud.
Work consists of the construction of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 8’ tall chain link fencing with barbed-wire topping, swinging gates and an electrically operated cantilevered sliding gate.
Plans and Specifications for the proposed work, will be on file and publicly exhibited as of December 13, 2021.
