5 Questions with Gregg Biche of Quality PM
According to experts, Americans renovate their homes every three to five years.
They also state that out of people who have lived in their homes for at least six years, 61% choose to renovate rather than move. Born and raised in the Capital Region, Gregg Biche is the founder and president of Quality PM, a local renovation and construction firm. Throughout the years, he has received recognition from the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, Parade of Homes, Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association and more.
1. What is Quality PM, Inc? “Quality PM, Inc is a renovation and construction firm committed to designing, remodeling, and building projects that exceed customer expectations. We are in business to serve clients who want not only a highquality, finished product, but also a concierge level of service from design to completion. Most homeowners have at least a vague idea of what they want but no idea how to make it a reality.
“That’s where our team comes in. We love bringing our clients’ visions to life.”
2. What drew you to the home improvement industry?
“After graduating high school, I worked alongside a carpenter helping with building maintenance and renovations. I loved the idea of taking an undesirable building and turning it into something to be proud of.
“That’s easier said than done, however. While certainly rewarding, it is also a physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging industry. We go into someone’s private home, tear it apart, and put it back together in a short period of time. We must balance managing the project itself with managing the emotions of the family living through it. In the end, the client’s satisfaction and our personal sense of achievement make it all worth it. After an especially tough remodel, we know we’ve succeeded when the client says, “You made that look easy!””
3. What are some remodel or renovations trends you are currently seeing?
“We are seeing kitchen and bathroom remodels with a few added special touches. For example, in primary bathrooms, we are doing a lot of heated tile floors and large custom shower stalls. In kitchens, we are using unique tiles for backsplashes, installing wall mounted pot fillers as well as different types of LED lighting, and a mix of wood and painted cabinets.”

“Real estate tends to be one of the largest investments a family will make. Keeping your home in good shape and up to date is a great way to improve your quality of life and to increase the value of your investment, especially if you are considering selling in the current real estate market.”
