Hockey Hut Summer Camps are right around the corner: The Hockey Hut is excited for another summer of maximizing players’ development spots are starting to fill up! Put in your deposit now to reserve your players’ spot in our camps! Camps include over three hours of on-ice instruction including power-skating, puck control, and shooting. All camps will involve instruction tailored to that week. Camps also include outdoor off-ice training and hockey skills. All players will receive a jersey at the beginning of each camp.
Ice Hockey Goalie Academy Skills Clinic- every Monday night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hockey Hut, followed by a one-hour goalie-focused off-ice training session. The clinic will include stations that focus on rebound control, depth, angles, skating skills, and hand positioning. Gametype situations and videos and photos to help goalies show their position and movement in the crease. $25 drop-in and $20 promotion if you bring a skilled shooter. Complimentary assessments and on-ice evaluations are available for more personalized private and semi-private sessions in and out of season, just ask! Each week players will work on a variety of advanced hockey skills training. Battle drills, edgework, shooting, and more, all at a high rate of speed. Register on-site when you arrive, or call us ahead of time. Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30p.m. Six sessions for $180.
Hockey Hut presents Drop In Shooting Class: Drop-in class to work on the wrist shot and scoring moves. Saturdays at 11 a.m. at the Hockey Hut. Cost: $20 per class. Payment received on location.
Hockey Hut presents Semi-Private Training Weekly: Players start their training with a free Player Assessment and Functional Movement Screening. The results of these assessments will determine the program we recommend. You can then choose from five sessions, 10sessions, or our most popular option, our 3-month program! Try Sports for Free with the Saratoga Springs Recreation Department. This free program gives youth in Grades K-12the opportunity to Try Sports For Free. No experience is needed. Participants will be able to try curling, figure skating, hockey, and speed skating.
A variety of sports including field hockey, pickleball, volleyball, and tennis are available to try at the Scott T. Johnson Rec Center. Additional sports will be available throughout the year for participants to try and have fun! The Hockey Hut’s 2024 Pond Hockey League starts the week of March 18 and it’s important to know that this isn’t just a league; it’s a unique experience that combines skill, strategy, and personal growth in hockey. Conveniently located in Clifton Park, close to both Albany and Saratoga, our 10-week league offers an unmatched 3v3 experience. Hockey Hut PHL Highlights: Medals for Winners — Compete hard, play smart, and stand a chance to take home the gold! Open Divisions — Choose from our diverse divisions — 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U/16U.
