Consider sponsoring Miles 4 Moe Foundation

“Miles 4 Moe Foundation” was established to honor the memory of Emil “Moe” Renzullo, Jr. In his short life, Moe’s enthusiasm, sense of humor and adventurous nature was an inspiration to many. “Miles 4 Moe Foundation” seeks to continue his legacy by supporting organizations such as Camp MOE, which encourages inclusive activities for children with special needs to famalies who could not otherwise afford to send their children to summer camp. The foundation will also benefit families who have a child diagnosed with cancer along with hospitals and organizations that treat these children.

For both Moe and his family, Camp MOE was an important part of their lives. The Camp has been operating for over 39 years and has reached so many during that time. Moe flourished from the day he started. His love of swimming, skateboarding, leading the camp in the morning cheer, or just spending quality quiet time with his camp counselor walking hand in hand, was evident to all.

The first “Miles 4 Moe” event that took place on Sept. 25, 2010 was an incredible success due to the generosity of businesses like yours. This letter is to request your continued support by donating to the 4th Annual “Miles 4 Moe” event. This year’s event will take place on Sept. 22, 2013 and eill include a Walk & Bike Ride that will commence at Coe Park in Torrington. A 5k walk and Bike Ride will include sev- eral challenging routes ranging from 12 miles to 75 miles! The Red Cross will be having a blood drive inside Coe Park during the event again this year after a successful inauguration drive last year. New this year will be a Kid’s Fun Run!
