Naugatuck Valley Community College’s (NVCC) Advanced Manufactur­ing Technology Center is currently enrolling students for the fall 2013 semester.

Manufactur­ing is a smart career choice with major earning potential. Interested students can learn more about the program by attending an info session at Naugatuck Valley Community College’s Advanced Manufactur­ing Technology Center July 31, at 11 a.m.; Aug. 7, 5:30 p.m.; Aug. 14, 11 a.m.; Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m.

Students who earn their one-year certificat­e in Advanced Manufactur­ing Machine Technology Level II will be qualified to work in machine technology and CNC manufactur­ing environmen­ts.

These certificat­es are Workforce Investment Act (WIA) approved and qualify for assistance under the Veterans Retraining Assistance Program ( VRAP). The program curriculum is available at Ct.edu/manufactur­ing.
