Drakeville’s flea market, tag sale is Saturday

TORRINGTON >> The Drakeville Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a flea market and community tag sale, Saturday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the event field across from the fire house at 1349 Marshall Lake Road. Several food options will be available to keep you satisfied while you visit our many vendors and music will keep you moving throughout the day. Kids of all ages can tour the firehouse, see our trucks and talk with firefighters. If you craft, bake, woodwork, looking to promote your goods business or simply in need of cleaning out your basement this event is for you. The rain date is Sunday, July 28. All proceeds benefit the Drakeville Volunteer Fire Department’s General Fund to promote the safety, security and well-being of the Torrington community as well as increase our ability to provide the city with an invaluable fire/rescue and prevention community service.
