Tina Fey and Amy Poehler return for another stint as co-hosts for the awards show. Presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the annual awards are viewed in more than 160 countries worldwide and are one of the few such ceremonies to honor both motion picture and television achievements.
Monday, Jan. 13 “2 Broke Girls” (CBS) 8:30 p.m.
Max (Kat Dennings) finds that she is beginning to grow feelings for her pastry school partner. Meanwhile, Caroline (Beth Behrs) still wants to get close to Max’s pastry teacher, Chef Nicholas (Gilles Marini).
Tuesday, Jan. 14 “The Biggest Loser” (NBC) 8 p.m.
The contestants are off on the adventure of a lifetime, headed to Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, where trainer Dolvett Quince will introduce them to Olympic gold medalist Apolo Ohno, who talks about his own “Second Chance” – this season’s theme.
Wednesday, Jan. 15 “Duck Dynasty” (A&E) 10 p.m.
The fifth-season premiere continues to follow the multimillion-dollar duck-call empire and simple yet amusing home life of patriarch Phil Robertson and his family, whose outspoken nature and tradition-filled, faith-based lifestyle have won them legions of loyal fans while driving the network’s most successful series ever.
Thursday, Jan. 16 “Community” (NBC) 8 p.m.
After the unexpected passing of Pierce Hawthorne (Chevy Chase), a team of investigators headed by the nononsense Mr. Stone (guest star Walton Goggins, “Justified”) arrives at Greendale to submit the study group to lie detector tests, a necessity to determine whether they can be considered for distributions under the will.
Friday, Jan. 17 “APB With Troy Dunn” (TNT) 9 p.m.
The new investigation series follows the nation’s foremost expert in locating and reuniting long-lost persons as he endeavors to bring separated loved ones back together. The unscripted program will incorporate a new social media app designed to help reunite missing persons with the people who care about them.
Saturday, Jan. 18 “Chicago P.D.” (NBC) 9 p.m.
Antonio’s (Jon Seda) son is kidnapped and he has a feeling that the Colombian drug gang is to blame. Meanwhile, Pulpo (guest star Arturo Del Puerto), the Colombian gang leader, is being held in jail and suggests his release may trigger the release of Diego (guest star Zach Garcia). During the investigation, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) learns some new information about Lindsay (Sophia Bush).
