Bureau awards scholarships
Litchfield County Farm Bureau recently announced this year’s scholarship recipients. Isabel Tobin and Kyle Brenner of Wamogo Regional High School, Jacqueline Johnson of Northwestern Regional High School, and Erin Korowotny of Nonnewaug High School all have been selected to receive this year’s Agricultural Education Scholarships. Annually, the Litchfield County Farm Bureau solicits applications from high school seniors in northwest Connecticut, and awards scholarships based on academic achievement, financial need and interest in agriculture.
Isabel Tobin is planning to attend The University of Findlay in Ohio. Isabel will begin her college education by entering a Bachelor’s Degree program and major in Animal Science.
Kyle Brenner is planning to attend Central Connecticut State University. Kyle will begin his college education by entering a Bachelor’s Degree program and major in Mechanical Engineering.
Jacqueline Johnson is planning to attend The University of Vermont. Jacqueline will begin her college education by entering a Bachelor’s Degree program and major in Biological Sciences.
Erin Korowotny is planning to attend Pennsylvania State University. Erin will begin her college education by entering a Bachelor’s Degree program and major in Agricultural Education.
