BURLINGTON — CIAC and Special Olympics, Regional School District #10 recently announced that Har-Bur Middle School and Lewis S. Mills High School have been recognized as official Special Olympics National Banner Champion Schools.

Under the leadership of HBMS coaches Kat Loughery and Margaret Dunlop and LSM coaches Barbara Angelicola-Manzolli and Cindy Berardinelli, the staff and students of both schools have demonstrated their commitment to inclusion.

According to the Special Olympics, “A Special Olympics Unified Champion School has an inclusive school climate and exudes a sense of collaboration, engagement and respect for all members of the student body and staff.
