Senior Soiree spring luncheon tickets

LITCHFIELD — Seniors in the Litchfield community are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring with the town’s annual Senior Luncheon, hosted by Litchfield Parks and Recreation Department at the Litchfield Community Center on Thursday, March 22 at 12 p.m.

The event will include entertainm­ent by singer-songwriter Ian Campbell, and catered by the culinary students of Oliver Wolcott Technical School. Lasagna, salad, bread, dessert, all-included in the $10 ticket.

Tickets are on sale now at Murphy’s Pharmacy, Litchfield’s Town Hall Clerk’s office, and at the Litchfield Parks and Recreation office in the Bantam Annex or, make reservatio­ns at the Litchfield Community Center and pay at the door.

Saturday in the Park planning underway

The Torrington Arts and Culture Commission will present the annual Saturday in the Park event on June 3 beginning at 10 a.m.

Held at Coe Memorial Park, the event includes an arts and crafts Fair, live music, food and beverages as well as an appearance of the Market Place Express train with rides around the park.

Vendors wanted for annual flea market

GOSHEN — Vendors are needed for the 17th annual flea market in Goshen, held to support the preservati­on of the historic St. Thomas of Villanova Chape.

The market will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Donahue Hall at St. Thomast Church, Route 63 North in Goshen.
