Shooting threat made on Pats’ player’s Instagram

A social media message to New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman has led police to a teenager who posted a threat about shooting up his school. The New York Times reports Edelman received a message from a concerned Instagram follower late last month who told him about the threat to “shoot up” a school in the comments section of his account. Police officials say the boy was charged with making a false report of a threat of terrorism . ... Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa has signed his restricted free agent tender. A sixth-round pick in the 2014 draft, Enunwa is entering his fourth season with the Jets. In 29 career games, the 6-foot-2, 225-pound Enunwa has 80 receptions for 1,172 yards with four touchdowns . ... The Ravens have reached agreement on a 1-year deal with quarterbac­k Robert Griffin III, whose once-promising NFL career grinded to a halt two years ago. He is expected to serve as the backup to Joe Flacco . ... Bears receiver Josh Bellamy signed his restricted free agent tender. Bellamy will return for a fifth season in Chicago after catching 24 passes for 376 yards and a touchdown last season . ... Colts guard Jeremy Vujnovich has signed the team’s one-year offer. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman was an exclusive rights free agent after starting all 16 games at left guard in 2017 . ... The Bills agreed to sign free agent defensive end Terrence Fede to a one-year contract. Fede was used exclusivel­y in backup and special teams roles in spending his first four NFL seasons with the Dolphins.
