Merrill, recognized as one of the most gifted young pianists in New England, has attracted an enthusiast­ic following.

WASHINGTON — The next performer in St. John’s Concert Series is classical pianist Jackson Merrill on Sunday, May 6, at 4 p.m., at St. John’s Parish House, 9 Parsonage Lane.

Merrill is recognized as one of the most gifted young pianists in New England. A native of Florida, Merrill since his arrival in Connecticu­t has quickly attracted an enthusiast­ic following for his inspired performanc­e and distinguis­hed technique.

Merrill is the resident music director at Trinity Church, Hartford. He will be performing Toccata in E minor by Bach, Sonata No. 17 in B flat by Mozart and Piano Sonata No. 3 by Norman Dello Joio.

Tickets are $35 per person.
