Entries sought for Trinity Gallery show

LIME ROCK — A Call for Entries is now available for artists to enter the Trinity Gallery’s, Lime Rock annual Memorial Day Juried Show. Artists are asked to drop off their pieces on Sunday, May 20 from Noon to 2 p.m.

Submitted artwork can be three pieces up to 30 inches in any dimension, two pieces up to 44 inches, or one piece up to 58 inches including mats and frames. Most media may be entered except for prints of original work, photograph­y, or computer generated art. There is a nonrefunda­ble entry fee for each artist of $30. The fee also includes six unframed pieces for bin display, and artists may enter pieces for bins only, if they do not want their work to be judged by the Jurors.

Jurors are Tino and Susan Galluzzo owners and co-directors of the White Gallery, a fine art gallery in Lakeville, presenting Modern Contempora­ry Masters and the best of emerging artists. The White Gallery represents fine art of exceptiona­l quality and value, and is dedicated to increasing the awareness and appreciati­on of fine art.

Besides selecting the works to be shown, the jurors will award cash prizes of 1st Place, $100, 2nd Place, $75, 3rd Place $50 and up to 5 Honorable Mentions. The Opening Reception and Awarding of Prizes is Friday May 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. and the show dates are May 26, 27, 28; June 2, 3, June 9,10 Noon to 4 p.m.

On Sunday June 10 from 12:30 until 3:30 P.M. there will be a MonoPrinti­ng Workshop at $30 perperson (limited to 15 persons only), followed by a Free one hour Acrylic Workshop starting at 3:3:30 p.m..
