CLASS LL NO. 2 TRUMBULL (24-2) VS. NO. 5 AMITY (21-4)

When: Saturday, 4 p.m.

Where: Biondi Field, West Haven

Championsh­ip game appearance­s: Trumbull is making second appearance (1-0), won in 2017. Amity is making 15th appearance (5-9), last won in 2012.

What to look for: Who will start in the circle for the Eagles? Starter Emily Gell is suffering from a stress fracture in her foot, but has come on in relief the last two games. Freshman Mackenzie Bruggerman has earned the win. … The Spartans also feature two pitchers with Grace Whitman and Kelly Pritchard.

CLASS L NO. 1 MASUK (26-0) VS. NO. 3 BROOKFIELD (20-4)

When: Friday, 7 p.m.

Where: Biondi Field, West Haven

Championsh­ip game appearance­s: Masuk is making seventh appearance (4-2), last won in 2013. Brookfield is making second appearance (1-0), last won in 2000.

What to look for: The top of both batting orders will be a difficult out. Brookfield’s No. 1-3 hitters of Avery Katz, Laila Cofone and Emily Parchinski are all sophomores who have had key hits during the Bobcats remarkable run to the final. … Masuk counters with Erica Pullen, Meg McFarland and Grace Bunovsky, all of who hit above .400 for the season. McFarland led the team in hitting this spring.

CLASS M NO. 3 GRISWOLD (25-1) VS. NO. 9 ST. JOSEPH (22-4)

When: Saturday, 1 p.m.

Where: Biondi Field, West Haven

Championsh­ip game appearance­s: Griswold is making its third state final appearance (1-1), last won in 2003. St. Joseph is appearing in its 10th state final (5-4), last won in 2010.

What to look for: Griswold senior Maya Waldron threw a perfect game with 15 strikeouts against North Branford in the semifinals. She’s allowed four runs in 28 postseason innings. Madison LaBossiere hit a solo home run in the game while Sarah Aviles drove in a run. The win avenged the Wolverines’ lone defeat this season. … Griswold eclipsed 10 runs in 14 of 20 regular season games.

CLASS S NO. 1 STAFFORD (23-2) VS. NO. 7 HOLY CROSS (19-6)

When: Friday, 7 p.m.

Where: DeLuca Field, Stratford

Championsh­ip game appearance­s: Stafford is making second appearance (1-0), last won in 1976. Holy Cross is making seventh appearance (4-2), last won in 2017.

What to look for: Stafford will venture 85 miles across the state for a second time in three days. … The Bulldogs were down to their final out trailing 4-3 in the semifinals against Wamogo.
