CAFTA to host candidates forum

TORRINGTON — Connecticut Academy For The Arts will host a candidates forum, for Democrats and Republicans running for seats in the state legislature, 8th and 30th Senate and 63rd, 64th, 65th House, on Sept. 19, 6 to 9 p.m. at CAFTA.

The forum will be digitally videotaped and made available to the press, both parties and to all participants. CAFTA’s Cineteque Theatre seats approximately 100. “We believe an event of this import will be (standing room only), said John Sullivan, co-founding director of development of CAFTA.
