Kent Carnival set for Sept. 1

KENT — The Kent Memorial Library is excited to present the first annual Kent Carnival on Saturday, Sept. 1 at Golden Falcon Field, 20 North Main Street, Kent from 12 to 3 p.m.

Golden Falcon Field will have live music, Touch-a-Truck, free beverages, an obstacle course, a side show of oddities, a bouncy house, no-sew quilting project, mural art project, balloon animals, kids games, prizes, snacks and more!

The Carnival is being spearheaded by Kent Library director Sarah Marshall, who wanted to have an event to bring the community together, similar to the former Fireman’s Carnival. To participate, call Sarah Marshall at 860-927-3761. Visit kentmemoriallibrary.org for information.
