EARTH FILM SERIES: Church of Christ Congregati­onal in Goshen is launching its new season of the Earth Film Series Sept. 19, 6:30 p.m., showing the documentar­y “Earthship,” which explores an experiment in New Mexico that attempts to imagine a sustainabl­e society. The Earth Film Series is a project of the 4/1 Earth Ministry of the church. Films range in topics from water to soil to climate and include films on children experienci­ng nature and on celebrated environmen­talists Rachel Carson and Aldo Leopold. The series is held in the Fellowship Room of the church. The event is free and includes a soup supper.
