Chamber plans April trip to Greece

- JOANN RYAN

Chamber Travel Program: Greece Info Session

Experience nine days and seven nights (April 6-14) in Greece, the land of gods and heroes.

The Peloponnese is home to an extraordinary collection of archaeological sites as well as stunning mountainous scenery and charming villages where a traditional way of life has remained unchanged for centuries. On this splendid cultural journey, trace 5,000 years of Greek history while exploring the country’s archaeological treasures. Walk in the footsteps of Socrates on the Acropolis and examine artifacts of Athens’ Golden Age at the outstanding Acropolis Museum, sail through the scenic Corinth canal, and enjoy the insights of the local guest speaker on the contemporary Greek economic and social scene.

The trip includes hotels, meals, day trips and airfare from JFK. There is also an optional extension to Santorini. Sign up before Oct. 26 for the early bird special price of $2,849 and a free Delhi tour.

Join us for an informational session at 6 p.m. Monday at the Chamber Office, 333 Kennedy Drive, Torrington.

WOW! Forum: Women of Strength & Courage
