Ocean State Job Lot incentive extended

Ocean State Job Lot, a privatelyheld, family-operated discount retail chain with 133 stores in New England, New York, and New Jersey, is extending its new “Choose, Give, Get” donation program through Dec. 24. The program, originally set to conclude Dec. 5, benefits those in need this holiday season. Customers are invited to choose a cause, give to that cause, and get their donation back in the form of an OSJL Crazy Deal Gift Card. In addition, OSJL has announced that they will match all customer donations up to $1 million.

Now through Christmas Eve, any customer who chooses to donate $50 or more (in increments of $50.00) to one of eight causes supported through the OSJL Charitable Foundation, will receive their donated amount back in a Crazy Deal Gift Card. Causes supported by the Foundation are: military and veterans, food insecurity, child welfare, healthcare (fighting cancer/disease), education, animal welfare, performing arts, and homelessness.

“Our inaugural ‘Choose, Give, Get’ program has been greeted with such enthusiasm that we have made the decision to not only extend the program through December 24th, but to match all customer donations up to one million dollars,” said David Sarlitto, Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation Executive Director, in the statement. “Ocean State Job Lot covers all foundation expenses, so all of the money we raise will go to those in need.”
