As we begin 2019, we resolve that we will continue our unending support for you and your businesses so that you achieve success. In order to do this, we cordially invite you to become a part of our Chamber and to take advantage of these initiatives.

Start the year with us… Join us for the Chamber’s Open House on January 23rd to hear our plans and to make new business alliances.

Create the 2019 legislative agenda… Help us plan Connecticut’s future! In our effort to accomplish this goal, the Government Relations Committee is preparing its agenda with the approval of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. We are focusing on Balance and Stability and working closely with our Legislative delegation.

Utilize the workforce investment resources… There is funding available for apprenticeships, hiring and training of employees. Take advantage of our School to Career, Manufacturer’s Coalition and Health Council for the most up to date information to help your business grow.

Read to children… Your spirits will soar when you volunteer for our 28th Anniversary of Read Aloud sponsored by the Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut. Put Wednesday, February 13th on your calendar and join hundreds of special readers who spend an hour demonstrating the importance of reading to elementary school children throughout the Northwest corner.

Market your business… Contact us immediately to secure your participation in the newly formed Leads Groups meeting every other Monday of each month for lunch at the Chamber. You will make many new contacts and best friends.

Collaborate… Together we can accomplish so much that individually might not be possible. We are fortunate to partner with vital organizations and businesses in the private and public sector that make our economic, educational, cultural and civic programs possible.
