Round Table to meet

TORRINGTON — The Connecticut Civil War Round Table will hold its next meeting on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Torrington Library Community Room, 12 Daycoeton Place in Torrington.

This month the Round Table welcomes Hamish Lutris, who will present “Animal Mascots In The War.” The meeting will begin at 11:30, with Lutris speaking from noon to 1:15 p.m. A social hour will follow together with refreshments and a book raffle.

Donations will be accepted from nonmembers of the Round Table. Those who wish to become members may contact treasurer Pat O’Donnell either before or after the meeting.

The Connecticut Civil War Round Table is an organization of Connecticut residents who take an active interest in the Civil War.
