Man hospitalized after alleged knife assault Sunday in Torrington

TORRINGTON — A man was cut with a knife Sunday on North Elm Street in Torrington, according to city police.

Destiny Garrison, 21, of North Elm Street, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Lt. Bart Barown III said Monday.

“A male victim had a minor injury from being cut with a knife and was transported to Waterbury Hospital where he was treated and released,” Barown said in an email.

Garrison was released on bail and scheduled to appear in court Monday, Barown said.
