FAIRNESS FOR VETERANS

U.S. Sen. Blumenthal, D-Conn, a member of the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, recently introduced the Agent Orange Exposure Fairness Act to remove barriers for veterans seeking disability compensation due to their exposure to Agent Orange. Blumenthal was originally inspired to introduce this bill after hearing concerns from Gerry Wright, Blumenthal’s guest to President Trump’s State of the Union address. Wright, a Vietnam veteran and vocal advocate from Andover, is with Blumenthal in Washington, D.C., as Blumenthal introduces the legislation.
