The Register Citizen (Torrington, CT)
NEAL, CHRISTOPHER IVAN
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Christopher Ivan Neal at the age of 22. He started his trek to the United States in 1999, coming over from Russia at 2 ½ years old. His brief life was packed with many adventures including skydiving in CT, parasailing in Hawaii, along with trips to Las Vegas, San Diego, LA, San Francisco, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, Mexico, Haiti, and Atlanta to visit his Godfather. He also attended many concerts but his favorites were Guns N’ Roses and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
He leaves behind his father and his best friend, David Neal, many relatives but most notable his uncle Raymond, aunt Dianne, and nana and Godmother Doris Neal. He also leaves behind many friends and his Godfather, John Scalessa. Finally he leaves behind his beloved dog Max. Chris was known for being able to make everyone smile and had the ability to make everyone feel respected and well liked. He was also noted for ending conversations with “I love you.” He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He left us too soon. Chris, I love you, Dad.
