Zack Hook, New Milford: A goal and three assists in a 5-2 win over Shepaug.

Kyle Jacobson, Eastern CT Eagles: A goal and three assists in an 8-4 win over Hall/ Southington.

Jack Kinahan, Trinity Catholic: Scored five goals (teammate Zach Deleo had four in a row) in a 9-3 win over St. Joseph.

Niko Kyle, West Haven: Assisted on one tying goal in the third, scored another with 6:18 left, then beat NFI in overtime.

Chase Maxwell, Xavier: Two goals, including one 4:58 into overtime, as the Falcons beat Notre Dame-West Haven 3-2.

Trevor Paluso, Farmington Valley: Stopped 28 shots in a 3-0 shutout over East Catholic.

Sean Quinn, North Haven: Scored the winning goal with 6:24 left to beat North Branford 2-1.

Andrew Sacco, LHK: Made 29 saves in a 4-3 win over Amity.

Scott Simeon, Simsbury: Two goals and an assist in a 5-1 win over Glastonbury.

Owen Stacy, E.O. Smith: Two goals and an assist in a 5-3 win over South Windsor.

Alex Tsymbaluk, Trumbull: Made 43 saves in a 5-4 overtime win against Westhill/Stamford.

Niklas Vasiljevs, Cheshire: Scored both goals in a 2-1 win over South Windsor.

Jake Watrous, Guilford: Second goal of the night broke a tie with 4:06 left in an 8-6 win over Hand.

Tag Weiss, Masuk: Made 43 saves in the Panthers' 3-2 overtime win against Newtown. Jared Yakimoff, Branford: Made 23 saves to shut out Guilford 5-0.

GAMES TO WATCH

Cheshire at Guilford (DiLungo), Wednesday, 7:15 p.m.: Guilford should firm up a spot in the SCC/SWC Division II playoffs with at least a tie (which would also clinch a spot for Watertown/Pomperaug).

Fairfield Prep at Ridgefield (Winter Garden), Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.: Maybe the game of the second half, a rematch of the preseason No. 1 (the Jesuits' growing pains seem to have worked themselves out, and we'll see how far they've come) and No. 2 (the Tigers immediately took over No. 1 and haven't lost and haven't looked back).

Notre Dame-West Haven at Fairfield Prep (Wonderland), Saturday, 1 p.m.: Perhaps guarding against any Jesuits letdown after that one: Their archrival comes to Bridgeport. The Green Knights have swung around .500 like a sine wave, looking for consistency by the end of the year.

Amity at Cheshire (Wesleyan), Saturday, 6 p.m.: This game is why Guilford can clinch with a point on Wednesday: Somebody has to lose at least one point here. They're jostling for position in a couple of Div. II tournaments.

Sheehan at LHK (Northford), Saturday, 8 p.m.: Three weeks after the co-op's 3-0 win in front of a packed house at Wesleyan, they'll meet again. The Trojans have an edge for second place in the CIAC Division III standings as the week begins.

Westhill/Stamford at Ridgefield (Winter Garden), Monday, 2 p.m.: The Tigers could be going for the first unbeaten CIAC regular season since New Canaan in 2010-11, or they could at least be going for their second unbeaten FCIAC regular season in three years.

Darien at Greenwich (Hamill), Monday, 4:30 p.m.: Until last week's win over LaSalle Academy (R.I.), the Cardinals hadn't seemed to have their mojo since their Dec. 29 win over Darien. Their regular season ends here with the rematch.
